Creating a blog might be the most confusing thing I do this week. But, it is created. It is not good, or great, or perfect, but it is created. Slowly but surely, right? I'm not sure what I will write about (or how often I will write) but when the urge hits me, I now have a place to go.
Quick update on where we are in life, and how we got here. Eric and I met at Ouachita Baptist University. It was the spring of his freshmen year and my junior year. 9 months later we were engaged, and 16 months later we were married.
I had just graduated from Ouachita, and Eric still had 2 years left of school. (We got married young, but we do not regret it one. single. bit.) About a month before our wedding, I began working at Ouachita in the admission office. I have been here ever since (and I l.o.v.e. it). Eric graduated from Ouachita this past May, and is now in seminary through B.H. Carroll and working part time at our church as the ministry assistant (and working part time at Gamestop, and doing some tutoring, whew). We bought a house May 2010 that we absolutely LOVE. It's is really old and has so much character. I have a hard time imagining loving another house as much as I love this one :)
We also have the cutest dog ever, Bailey.
And that is very brief story of us, and where we are today. We love Arkadelphia. We love our jobs. We love our house. And I'm slowly learning to love our kitchen.
Slowly but surely, right?
